Prepare for Your Day of Epic Paintball!
At Gator Mike’s Family Fun Park, we pride ourselves on being a fun and safe place for families and friends to come play. Paintball is one of our most popular activities, and while it can be a very safe game, there is still some level of risk involved. Before your group starts playing, we will go over the course and rules to make sure everyone stays safe and has fun, but it’s also important that you come prepared.
If you’ve never played paintball before, we recommend wearing jeans and bringing a sweatshirt or long-sleeve shirt with you. Many first-time players feel much more comfortable wearing a heavier shirt. If it’s a hot day and you decide to wear one, be sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. You don’t want dehydration to ruin your fun!
Again, closed-toe shoes are required to play, and we won’t be able to allow you on the field without proper attire.
Playing Paintball
While playing, you’ll be required to follow all of the rules that we go over during the pregame meeting. The number-one risk when playing paintball is accidentally getting hit in the face by a paintball. That’s why you’ll be required to wear your safety gear at all times. Failure to follow the rules may result in your group no longer being able to play. We don’t want that to happen, so please be sure to pay attention to the safety briefing and ask any questions you might have.
